THE SEMINAR

For those interested, the schedule includes some spiritual practices that are very helpful for an exemplary Christian father: Holy Mass, opportunity for confession & spiritual direction, times of prayer, and Holy Rosary.

This seminar is sponsored by Sauganash Study Center. The Christian orientation of Sauganash’s programs is entrusted to Opus Dei, a personal Prelature of the Catholic Church.

WHY SHOULD YOU COME?

In today’s society the image of the father is being put down and caricatured but, as Christian men, we know this isn’t right. This seminar is designed as a “retreat” from the day-to-day responsibilities of fatherhood in order to refocus ourselves.

By participating in breakout sessions, listening to experts talk, and getting to know other father’s our age to share stories and strategies we can recommit and go deeper into the ideals of Christian fatherhood in order to bring them back to our homes and ordinary lives.

“Without father figures, young people often feel ‘orphaned,’ left adrift at a critical moment in their growth and development… fathers are necessary as examples and guides for our children in wisdom and virtue.”

-POPE FRANCIS
